Education Committee
Education Committee Mandate
The aim of the Education Committee is to improve student knowledge, with an emphasis on protection of the environment, since the management of waste has not been sufficiently emphasized in the education of the current generation.
Crane Mountain Enhancement Inc formed its Education Committee to administer funding of, and to direct activities for, education programs both at the Crane Mountain Site and within the Host Community.

“Bussing to the Landfill Site”
Our special “bus account” is intended to enable each student in the six host area schools, to visit the Interpretive Centre at the Crane Mountain Sanitary Landfill Site at least once. The Education Committee can cover the cost of buses for trips by students of Host Community Schools to the Landfill Site. Contact us for more information about this program.
Provision can also be made for visits from schools in the whole Fundy Region serviced by the Crane Mountain landfill.
